Library Reopening Information

Helpful information for the reopening phase of library operations

All Columbia County libraries will open for curbside service on June 17th. Hours for each library will vary.

Germantown Library hours will be 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday/Saturday.

Steps for curbside service:

  1. Order online from the Mid-Hudson Library System online catalog or call the library (518-537-5800)
  2. You will be notified when your items are ready
  3. Call the library when you arrive at the pick-up area in the library parking lot.

During this phase of reopening the library building is only accessible by library staff.

It is our goal to proceed with this phase of reopening in the safest manner possible for our patrons and staff

Next phases

An announcement will be made when we reach the phase where we can begin to open the building to the public. This may also be a phased-in approach with limited patron visits, limited computer time, and proper social distancing required, based on government directives.
