About the Event
In part one of the session, Adam Deen led a hands-on photography workshop demonstrating approaches to image making and how make your own photo story on film. In part two, participants will gather to share their developed images and creative process with the group!
Deen will help photo edit the participants work, and everyone will complete the workshop with their own work of art.
This final session will take place on Sunday, July 27, at the Germantown Library from 1 to 3 pm. The workshop and materials are offered for free. Space is limited to the participants of part-one of this workshop.

About the Photographer
Adam T. Deen is a photographer and filmmaker based in New York. His exhibition “Spare Time,” is on view now at the Germantown Library through July 31. Deen documents contemporary culture, portraits, architecture, and interiors. His work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Hyperallergic, Vogue.com, The Business of Fashion, and Architectural Digest’s Clever, among publications.
He has exhibited at the Center for Photography Woodstock (CPW), The Stewart House, and CREATE Council on the Arts, and his mini doc “Ice Yachts” was an official selection of the 2024 Hudson Valley Film Festival.
With a background in set design, Deen previously worked on shoots with photographers including Annie Leibovitz and Steven Meisel, for clients including American Vogue, Vanity Fair, Prada, Louis Vuitton and others. Additionally, he has a decade of experience as a Digital Capture Technician.
